Is the More Than ONE Messiah in the scriptures?

  1. Jesus did not gather back the Hebrews from the four corners of the Earth as prophesied in the scriptures. The scriptures state gathering the Hebrews back from exile would be the main task of the Messiah of the Hebrews.

Since Jesus did nothing of the sort, does this mean Jesus was a fake Messiah? Or is there more than one Messiah in the Scriptures?

I believe the answer to your question lies in understanding the meaning of the title Messiah.

Was Moses not the Messiah of the Hebrews in his time? So YES going by the meaning of the word there is more than one Messiah but there is only one CHRIST/MEDIATOR (anointed by God) between man and God.

3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 1Timothy 2:3-6
